CONSIGNMENT POLICIES

The Apple Core is a quality consignment store that constantly strives to provide stylish clothing, of excellent quality, at affordable prices to our customers. We reserve the right to refuse items that do no meet our standards. All items are carefully checked before acceptance to ensure quality.

Ask yourself after inspecting your items, "Would I purchase this item?" If the answer is "no," maybe it should be considered for the donation box.  We are happy to work with you to make the consigning process mutually rewarding.

• Items showing wear, stains, odors, rips or wrinkles will not be accepted.
• Clothing must be brought in on hangers; no exceptions. 
• Shoes and purses must be new to slightly used; showing little wear. 
• All items must be current in style, season, color and no more than 2-21/2 years old. 
• Home decor items must be clean and in ready-to-sell condition.
• Please be courteous and limit your consignments to 10 items per visit.
• Consignments will only be accepted with an appointment.
• The store will list certain items on Ebay.  The insertion fees and other applicable fee are split with the consignor.

Prior to the end of the initial 60 day consignment period, you have the option to pick up any unsold items.  You must have an appointment to do so.  Please allow yourself at  least 15 minutes to go through the clothing racks.  You are responsible for finding your own items.   Payment for sold items will be made by appointment also. 

All items not picked up  will become the property of the Apple Core.  Unsold items will be donated to Transitional Housing. Charity slips will be available upon request for tax purposes.
